A 9 storey Iconic apartment development situated on the sea front at Southend overlooking the English Channel.The development was undertaken for Allied construction from Essex who awarded us the contract partly based on our technical input in determining the acoustic specification.
The challenges of the contract included.
- Working hand in hand with the Under floor Heating contractor who we coordinated our works with.
- Undertaking pours of 750m2 of Flow screed from plants located 30 miles away.
- Using various insulation types to ensure the most cost effective solution for the client.
- Maintaining a high level of Health and Safety awareness throughout.
